JOSEPH M. DILLON Q.C.
Joe Dillon is a partner in our insurance and defence litigation group at Brown Beattie O’Donovan. His practice is focused on personal injury, product liability, environmental law, and defence of errors and omissions claims.
He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1984 and is a former assistant Crown Attorney. Recently, Joe was honored by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association as a leader in defence personal injury at its 2010 Celebration of the Personal Injury Bar.
Joe has lectured at bar admission courses and continuing education seminars for lawyers, students and insurers. He is a member of Law Society of Upper Canada, The Advocates’ Society, Canadian Defence Lawyers, Defense Research Institute, Canadian Bar Association, London Claims Association and the Middlesex Law Association. Additionally, he received a peer review BV Distinguished rating of 4.4 out of 5 by Martindale-Hubbell for the highest ethical standards and professional ability.
Joe graduated from the University of Western Ontario, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts and later his Bachelor of Laws degree. He was called to the Bar in 1967.
