Malcolm B. Scott


Malcolm joined our civil litigation group after completing his articles in 2005. His practice at BBO focuses mainly on personal injury and insurance defence matters, including motor vehicle accident, slip and falls, product liability and property litigation claims. In addition, Malcolm handles general litigation matters and has recently begun building a family law practice. Malcolm works for both plaintiffs and defendants.

His advocacy experience ranges from arguing cases at all levels of court including the Court of Appeal to attending mediations and hearings on behalf of his clients.

Malcolm is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Middlesex Law Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates Society, Canadian Defence Lawyers, and the London Claims Association.

Malcolm is a former board member of LUSO Community Services. He currently sits on the board for Growing Chefs! Ontario, a London-based non-profit organization that promotes the development and growth of urban agriculture by running programs in elementary schools to get kids excited about growing, cooking, and eating healthy food. Malcolm is a musician and avid supporter of the local music scene.

Malcolm graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario.
